Hoi, I run a bot on MANY wiktionaries.. I decided to do an occasional run on the am.wiktionary as well. It will link articles into some fourty wiktionaries when they exist and are written in EXACTLY the same way.
- Teferra hasn't been active lately, but I'll answer for him. Please don't add any more; leave it to the people who actually know Amharic and know what is going on here, otherwise mistakes will be propagated all over the place. The word in question does NOT mean "word", rather it is the number "six". If you want the word for "word", it would be ቃል. 126.96.36.199 12:36, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
- It would seem that there is very little 'going on' here and the wrong translation was Teferra's. 02:22, 15 September 2007 (UTC) 188.8.131.52 02:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
True my engagement on the dictionary is not much at the moment due to other commitments. i am mainly concentrating on the computr glossary and software translation. So please do get engaged. If there is any thing I can help just ask.--ተፈራ 07:08, 10 ዴሰምበር 2007 (UTC)
Your admin status[አርም]
Hello. I'm a steward. A new policy regarding the removal of "advanced rights" (administrator, bureaucrat, etc.) was adopted by community consensus recently. According to this policy, the stewards are reviewing of administrators' activity on wikis with no inactivity policy.
You meet the inactivity criteria (no edits and no log actions for 2 years) on am.wiktionary, where you are an administrator. Since am.wiktionary does not have an own administrators' rights review process, the global one applies.
If you wish to retain your rights, you should notify the community that the stewards sent you this information about your inactivity to discuss the matter. Following your community's discussion, if the community then wants that you keep your rights, please contact the stewards at m:Stewards' noticeboard, and link to the discussion of the local community, where they express their wish to continue to maintain the rights, and demonstrate a continued requirement to maintain these rights.
We stewards will evaluate the responses. If there is no response at all after approximately one month, we will proceed to remove your administrative rights. In cases of doubt, we will evaluate the responses and will refer a decision back to the local community for their comment and review. If you have any questions, please contact us on m:Stewards' noticeboard.
